I will be building the alphabet with fashion! We start off with the letter A, which I have assigned to Abstract! How perfect for Spring! Now is the time to integrate bright pieces into your wardrobe and all of these are wearable (in my opinion). Here are some tips for wearing abstract items:
1) Don't be a "busy body!" At least when it comes to your outfit! I recommend sticking with one core abstract piece and pairing it with solids. My favorite abstract pairing would be a colored printed top with black skinny jeans and black booties.
2) Don't get dizzy-eyed! Meaning, don't let the pattern or design be your only focus. You also need to remember that the piece still needs to compliment your body shape/figure. Some people get so into picking out the perfect pattern that they lose sight of the basic principle of buying- how it fits!
3) Versatility! I am always an advocate for versatility, but this is especially pertinent here. Why? Because abstract pieces are so dominating it is sometimes difficult to find multiple outfits to utilize your abstract item. Don't be afraid to invest some time in choosing an item that you can wear several ways. Easy solutions to this are picking a scarf or bag (See Kim Kardashian Pic Below!).
