My Color for May: Sedona Reds

For May, I decided to pay tribute to my hometown of Sedona, Arizona. Sedona is known for its natural rock formations that are unique in chemical composition, shape, and color. If you were to ask someone what to call the color of the rock formations or dirt, you would probably hear one of the following adjectives matched with one of the following colors (so it takes two adjectives to describe a color, impressive ;)

Here's a photograph to help you grasp what I'm talking about (if you've never been)

So as far as wearing Sedona Reds the best part is that the variety of hues Sedona provides means a diversity of options for any skin/hair/eye color. Here's a breakdown of my recommendations for wearing this color, but you can always refer to the blog "Finding Your Perfect Colors" by fellow blogger Zepher, here

Light Eyes, Light to Medium Skin, Blonde Hair
Stronger orange and red colors!!

Darker Hazel and Brown Eyes, Light to Medium Skin, Bright to Dirty Blonde
Go more on the brown side!!

Darker Hazel and Brown Eyes, Light to Medium Skin, Red to Brown Hair
Also, more on the brown side!! Golden orange will work too!!

Deeper Blue or Green Eyes, Lighter Hazel Eyes, Light to Medium Skin, Blonde to Red or Brown Hair
Peachier tones will be best for you!!

My favorites in this color zone:
